SOCIAL DECAY #OOTD FT. SUMMER ESSENTIALS
Incase you haven't noticed, we've got a bunch of awesome new arrivals on our site. One of my personal favorites is the Cherry Bomb shredder, because who doesn't love that song/The Runaways/rock 'n' roll? Also, the red text coordinates with my hair, so I definitely can't complain. I styled the shredder with a couple of my favorite pieces that I've got in my wardrobe, which are perfect for summer. Here we go.
1. Denim Cutoffs
These ones are vintage Levi's that were cut up. I love high waist shorts for tucking shirts in and looking (just a teensy bit) more polished. These are a super easy and fun DIY if you don't wanna buy a new pair. Pick up some vintage jeans at your fave thrift shop and then go at them with scissors, sandpaper, or a cheese grater. Yes, really.
2. Bolo Wrap Necklace
I bought this perfect suede wrap necklace from an independent designer when we were vendors at the punk rock flea market. You can wear it so many ways just by switching up the way you wrap and tie it. If you're looking for a new accessory to complement your outfits, one of these necklaces is a great, edgy update from classic jewelry.
3. Thigh High Boots
Alright, maybe these boots aren't great for 90 degree humid weather, but they ARE great for other days and/or for transitioning a look from day to night. I usually opt for Doc Martens with my cutoffs, but wearing heeled thigh high boots add an instant va-va-voom to any outfit.
